All Classes:

Our dress code will be enforced at all times by all instructors in all disciplines. Some basic things you will need to know are:

Leotards and tights are clothing that are designed to need no undergarments. Panties and/or briefs are never necessary under a dancer’s leotard and tights. As ladies develop, some dancers desire a sports bra under their leotard. This is permitted, though all instructors ask that bras are designed in such a way they are as unnoticeable as possible under a leotard (i.e similar in color to the leotard or nude, have straps similar to the leotard being worn, etc.). Men and boys will also need a dance belt under their shorts or tights as they develop.

Clothes & Shoes: No bare mid-drifts, no butt cheeks.  Bike shorts must be long enough for stretching appropriately.  Sports bras or leotards are required.  Any shoes worn for dance purposes must be different from the shoes worn outside the studio.  For all classes that require tights, we ask that you refrain from wearing tights with excessive/multiple holes & runs. Dance tights only. No “Fashion” tights allowed.

Hair:  All hair must be pulled back out of the eyes. All bangs must be pinned back. Bun preferred to prevent whipping eyes with hair. No socks or footed tights will be allowed on the dance floor. No street shoes will be allowed on the dance floor at any time. No distracting hair accessories that are incapable of staying in place with head movement.
